This type is generally seen on skin folds in the groin, breasts and buttocks. Smooth patches appear on the skin, which inflames with friction and sweating. Fungal infections trigger it more.

• Pustular psoriasis – 

It’s a rare type of psoriasis as it causes blisters filled with pus. It appears to be white pus-filled blisters with widespread patches on palms and on soles. The colour varies from red to violet depending upon the skin complexion. Primarily seen in smaller areas of the body.

• Erythrodermic psoriasis –  

This is a sporadic type of psoriasis which is exponentially life-threatening. This type covers large areas of the body with a peeling rash that itches or burns intensely. Here skin appears to be sunburned, and the developed scales slough off in large sheets. You might get a fever, or it can affect you badly too.
